Application & Removal

Welcome to your guide for applying your Bonobonoya press-on nails! These easy to follow tutorials will help you achieve a perfect, salon-quality look—all from the comfort of your own home.

What You'll Need:

  • Your set of luxury Bonobonoya press-on nails
  • Cuticle pusher
  • Nail file/buffer
  • Alcohol pad
  • Nail glue or sticky tabs

All tools needed are included with every nail set.

Preparation

  1. To start, ensure your natural nails are clean, dry and free from any oils or residue. Gently use the wooden cuticle stick to push back your cuticles and remove any dead cuticle.
  2. Lightly buff your natural nails with the mini buffer. This will allow the nails to adhere better. You can also use the mini nail file to file down some of the length of your natural nail here too.
  3. Use the alcohol pad to cleanse your nail and remove any remaining oils or debris.

Application

Nail glue:

  1. Apply a thin layer of glue to the centre of your natural nail, spreading it out with the glue nib, and apply a dot to the back of each press on nail. Do this step one finger at a time to avoid a sticky mess!
  2. Position each press-on nail to your cuticle line and make sure the nail is straight. Slowly press the nail down, starting from a 45° angle. Hold the nail down firmly for 15-20 seconds to avoid any air bubbles.

Sticky tabs:

  1. Compare your nail to the sticky tabs to choosee the correct size. The sticky tab should cover your entire nail plate.
  2. Once you have selected the correct sizes, remove the sticky tab from the sheet and apply it to the centre of your nail. Press down for 30 seconds to ensure it adheres properly without any air bubbles.
  3. Remove the top cover from the sticky tab and apply the press-on nail from a 45° angle starting at the cuticle area. Hold for 30 seconds to ensure it is properly adhered.
  4. Do not get your nail wet for at least 3-4 hours after application.

Removal

Nail glue:

  1. Fill a bowl with warm water and add some dish soap and oil. Soak your nails for at least 10 minutes before trying to remove any nails.
  2. Starting from the sides, slowly begin to make a gap between the press on and your natural nail using the cuticle stick. Be gentle and do not force the nails off to avoid any nail damage.
  3. If they are not quite ready, soak your hands in the water again for at least another 10-15 minutes and repeat the same process.
  4. Once all nails are removed, gently buff any excess glue off your natural nails and apply cuticle oil and/or moisturiser.

Sticky tabs:

  1. Fill a bowl with warm water and add some dish soap and oil. Soak your nails for 10 minutes. The oil and soap mixture will help to loosen the adhesive of the sticky tabs.
  2. Use the cuticle stick to gently lift the press-on from your natural nail. Do not force them to come off. If they aren't easy to remove, soak your nails again for another 5 minutes and repeat the same process.
  3. Once the nails are removed, you can remove the left over sticky tabs by twisting the cuticle stick against the remaining sticky tabs on the backs of your press-ons to ensure they are ready for future use!
